The movie is based on the infamous murderer Jodi Arias with the title “Bad Behind Bars: Jodi Arias” and ends with the message “In loving memory of Tracy Brown Bering.” In December 2022, Tracy Brown’s death came to notice, so people watching the movie didn’t know about her passing in the film. Makers announced her death at the end of the movie, which surprised the viewers.

Mesmerized with Jodi’s charm, Tracy trapped herself in Jodi Arias’s plan and started feeling attached to her. They shared five months in the Estrella Jail in Phoenix, Arizona.

On 3rd December 2022, Tracy’s mother, Yolanda Ducharme, made Tracy’s death public by sharing a post on Facebook mentioning her daughter’s death and requesting people to pray for her.

Tracy fought a prolonged battle with depression but couldn’t survive. Her mother continued writing and sharing that depression took her, and she couldn’t save her. And share her feelings with others about how much she misses and loves her daughter, which depression took her from them.

Tracy had clinical depression, which can be because of many reasons, including receiving hate from followers of Jodi Arias. Another victim of Jodi Arias is Tracy’s wife, Donovan Bering, who is suffering from cancer.

Crystal Rider (Tracy’s sister) believes that Donovan pushed Tracy to suicide, and she overdosed on pills after the fight with Donavan.

She further added Donovan was aware that Tracy Brown was feeling like committing

suicide. Also, because she was seeking coroner and detectives, Donvan threatened her mother to make their life a living hell for it.

Crystal Rider made many allegations about Donavan and said that her family has no respect for her due to his continuous hate, pain, and lies from him.

People thought they were having a loving relationship. Still, in November 2022, Tracy posted on her Facebook, indicating a healthy relationship with love and care.

Tracy Brown had a tattoo of Jodi on her as she was thinking Jodi would kill herself. She thought Jodi would be an ideal cellmate as she was respectful and clean. Tracy had a tattoo of a bird and a musical note because Jodi’s voice was magical, and she would sing for Tracy Brown.

Jodi tattooed her name inside Tracy’s tattoo, and she made her agree, saying that she would kill herself.

Tracy thinks she has something to remember for a friend who came so close to her in such a short time and agreed to have a tattoo of her name.

Later, she realized that Jodi had lied to her and had no intention to commit suicide. In Maricopa County Jail, Jodi also shared a cell with Donavan for six months. So, Jodi shared a cell with both of them.

Tracy and Donovan begin dating after meeting in Estrella. When Donovan was free from prison, she managed Jodi’s social media accounts. Also, she made allegations that the media were not honest with Jodi.

She said, “I can’t believe what happened to her after knowing her, as I have never seen her yelling, raising her voice, and doing anything like that. And today, I am sitting in the court. It amazed me that she is the person I know well and knows how much compassion is in her.”

Their positive perception changed when Donovan started conversing with Jodi’s mother. She realized that she cares only for herself and doesn’t know the value of a true friend.
